Environmental Unique Solutions AG is a Swiss based company established in 2007 and it is dedicated to the research and development of new energy systems and technologies for the 21st century and beyond.
The World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEFF and WaterAid warns that global warming and industrial-pollution induced climate change are dramatically reducing the world’s water supply, causing more and more polluted water and various infestations related diseases.
According to a UN-NewsWire article (Spring of 2008) about 2.7 billion people in 46 countries are affected by water problems, and another 1.5 billion people in 56 other countries may soon face a situation when they cannot access drinking water. Unfortunately, this accounts for about half of the world’s population today. Due to climate change and industrial pollution, the ratio between the quantity and quality of the world’s water supply has deteriorated so badly, that in 2008, the consumption of water unfit to drink claimed the life of a child every 20 seconds.
One of the technologies promoted by Environmental Unique Solutions AG aims to save the planet’s water supply. For instance, it can solve the silica-pollution related problem of drinking water in arid parts of the world, like the Arabian Peninsula. Another valuable application of the same technology can reclaim polluted wastewater, resulting from industrial washing, in milk processing plants. It is known, that for every liter of milk processed in a plant, as much as 8 liters of drinking water may be used for the cleaning of industrial paraphernalia. While several thousands of cubic meters of daily discharged cleaning water degrades the water supplies, one third of the planet has no clean water to drink. Yet another application of this technology can restore water supplies marginally affected by the presence of crude oil.
Another technology promoted by Environmental Unique Solutions AG. is capable of eliminating CO2 emission, the main cause of global warming. This technology, based on an electrochemical process, converts CO2 into a non-toxic, environmentally friend substance, which already exists in the environment and it does not cause greenhouse effect.
